About

Nadia Khan is a writer and artist working with a variety of natural materials and with a BA in English literature.  In 2008 she and her husband relocated to northwestern Argentina looking for a wild piece of land to start a homesteading adventure. They have since, designed, built and founded Villa Monte Reserve where they implement conservation of the native forest. Along with this, they receive guests, maintain a natural garden with fruit trees, make furniture and raise their two children (just to name a few activities).

TALES FROM THE YUNGAS aims to raise awareness about the area and its wildlife, which is pivotal in conservation work. Writing and illustrating these stories incorporates all three aspects of her interests- art, literature and conservation.
